Great Japanese noodle spot in LIC! I tried the Sukiyaki Beef Oil Noodles and Teriyaki Chicken Oil Noodles. The portions were generous, especially the beef and chicken. The noodles were flavorful, and adding a soft-boiled egg made it even better. Would definitely come back!

I visited Nagaiki Ramen at METTRA Food Hall last night, and it was a great experience. While their menu draws inspiration from Okinawa's longevity diet, what really stood out to me was the Abura Soba . The Karaniku Abura Soba was my favoriteβit had this wonderful, nostalgic flavor that reminded me of my favorite local comfort food spots back home. It was savory, satisfying, and perfectly textured. Itβs the perfect spot for a casual, delicious meal in LIC. If youβre a fan of noodles and looking for something flavorful and satisfying, I highly recommend giving Nagaiki a try.

Nagaiki is within the METTRA food court (formerly known as JACX&CO). It's within a beautiful space with different seating options like lounge chairs and booth style seating. Nagaiki along with many other vendors has kiosks to order from, which makes it easy to see which options are available. I'm not certain if this is a chain or not... My partner and I ordered an abura soba (their specialty: brothless ramen) and their spicy tonkatsu (broth ramen). I personally thought their abura soba was miles better than the regular ramen, so go with the abura soba option here. They also have appetizers available that are your avg Japanese sides. Pretty good takeout option, and orders come out fast.

10/10 aburasoba I got their sukiyaki aburasoba and it was insanely good. The beef was tender, and the sauce was impeccable. The noodle was thick and chewy, just how aburasoba noodle should be. Cannot wait to try their other flavors.

A beautifully crafted bowl of ramen. The broth was deep and comforting, the ingredients were fresh, and the presentation was stunning. Every element worked together perfectly. Truly outstanding
